Fractional VP of Technology - Home Health

This fractional engagement supports a multi-site home health organisation operating primarily within a Microsoft 365 and cloud SaaS environment. The VP of Technology will provide part-time IT leadership to drive roadmap initiatives, hold MSPs and application vendors accountable, and coordinate security and compliance improvements including MFA, endpoint protection, access controls, and backup processes.

The role requires hands-on involvement alongside strategic direction, working closely with clinical leaders, operational stakeholders, and development partners in an agile environment. Candidates must have direct IT leadership experience within a home health setting and familiarity with HIPAA requirements and distributed multi-site environments. Experience with PE-backed organisations is also required.

• Lead execution of approved IT roadmap initiatives across a distributed, multi-site home health environment.
• Partner with clinical and operational leaders to translate business requirements into clear, actionable IT plans.
• Hold MSPs, application vendors, and development partners accountable for service quality, commitments, and issue resolution.
• Drive security and compliance improvements covering MFA, endpoint protection, backups, and access controls.
• Coordinate with development vendors in an agile environment, tracking backlog, sprint progress, and escalating blockers.
• Support IT governance meetings, steering committee updates, and executive reporting, escalating risks and decisions as required.

• Direct IT leadership experience within a home health organisation across multiple locations or branches.
• Senior IT leadership background at Director, VP, CIO, or equivalent level.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, cloud SaaS applications, identity management, and access controls.
• Experience managing MSPs, application vendors, and development partners, including agile backlog and sprint oversight.
• Familiarity with home health clinical workflows, EMR/EHR platforms, and HIPAA compliance requirements.
• Experience supporting PE-backed organisations and availability to commit to an ongoing part-time fractional engagement.
