A Senior Product Manager is needed to lead the contractor management product roadmap at Justworks, unifying payment experiences across currencies and classifications while navigating complex international regulatory requirements.
Justworks is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the contractor pod's roadmap, with a focus on creating a unified experience for businesses paying contractors locally or globally. The role spans everything from bulk and recurring payment capabilities to navigating contractor classification rules across jurisdictions. This is both a product and growth priority, as the contractor product often serves as the first entry point for small businesses before they adopt PEO or EOR solutions.
Day-to-day, you will partner closely with engineering, design, legal, and international operations to ship against a fast-moving roadmap. A parallel platform initiative is rebuilding the underlying data and identity foundations, and you will be responsible for keeping product decisions and platform work aligned throughout.
- Own and drive the product vision and roadmap for the contractor management product area.
- Conduct research-backed case development to inform prioritisation and product decisions.
- Scope, prioritise, and execute initiatives to deliver measurable business impact with clear accountability for outcomes.
- Partner with design and engineering to maintain effective team processes and ship against roadmap commitments.
- Coordinate with legal and international operations to navigate contractor classification and pay rules across markets.
- Identify opportunities beyond core responsibilities to support broader product strategy and business growth.
- Demonstrated expertise in the full product development lifecycle, from discovery through to delivery.
- Strong ability to develop research-backed business cases and translate insights into roadmap priorities.
- Experience working in complex regulatory environments, such as FinTech, HRTech, or international payroll.
- Solid understanding of engineering concepts and tradeoffs, with the ability to communicate scope and timelines to stakeholders.
- Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration with engineering, design, legal, and operations teams.
- Ability to operate independently within scope while maintaining alignment with broader business objectives.
