Partner - Strategic Finance Transformation (Consulting)

A high-growth consulting firm is seeking a Partner to lead its Finance Strategy and Transformation practice, working directly with CFOs and senior finance leaders at Fortune 1000 organisations. The role sits at the intersection of finance strategy, operating model design, and technology enablement, spanning ERP, EPM, automation, AI, and analytics deployments.

The successful candidate will manage multi-workstream delivery programmes, contribute to business development and client relationship growth, and mentor junior team members. The firm offers a hybrid working model based in Boston, with strong deal flow and complex, high-impact client engagements. Approximately 15 years of experience in Big 4 or top-tier advisory is expected, with a demonstrated track record in finance transformation and technology enablement.

• Lead end-to-end finance transformation programmes spanning strategy, operating model design, and execution
• Partner with CFOs to define target operating models, governance frameworks, and performance metrics
• Redesign core finance processes across Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash, and Procure-to-Pay
• Oversee deployment of ERP, EPM, automation, AI, and analytics solutions
• Drive business development, contribute to proposals, and grow client relationships
• Mentor and develop junior team members across delivery workstreams

• Approximately 15 years of experience in finance transformation, operating model design, shared services, or performance improvement
• Background in a Big 4 or top-tier advisory firm
• Exposure to finance technology enablement including ERP, EPM, automation, and analytics
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at CFO and Controller level
• Established network and knowledge of the Boston market
• Commercial mindset with interest in practice development and client growth
