Marketing Director (Part-time)

HiView Solutions is seeking a part-time Marketing Director to take full ownership of marketing strategy and generate qualified opportunities for the Sales team. The role involves setting marketing goals, managing a marketing coordinator and external contractors, and collaborating with engineers to produce technical content. The position is structured as one day per week in the San Luis Obispo office with the remainder remote.

The successful candidate will oversee the full funnel from website visits to qualified leads, lead launch marketing for Claude, Google Workspace and Gemini Enterprise services, and set budget and channel mix across Google Ads, LinkedIn and content. A longer-term marketing roadmap is also expected as a deliverable.

• Partner with Sales on target account strategy, messaging and lead handoff processes.
• Own the marketing funnel from website visits through to qualified lead conversion.
• Lead launch marketing for Claude, Google Workspace and Gemini Enterprise service lines.
• Analyse GA4, Search Console and Ahrefs data to select campaigns and measure results.
• Set and manage budget and channel mix across Google Ads, LinkedIn and content marketing.
• Deliver a longer-term marketing roadmap aligned to business growth objectives.

• 8+ years of B2B marketing experience, with at least 3 years leading strategy at a SaaS, IT or cloud/AI consulting firm.
• Demonstrated track record of growing inbound pipeline with SMB or mid-market buyers.
• Proficiency with analytics tools including GA4, Search Console and SEO fundamentals.
• Experience directing a coordinator, agency or small team.
• Strong design sensibility and comfort interpreting data to inform decisions.
