A rapidly growing insurance services business is seeking an experienced Interim IT Director to lead a critical phase of technology and operational transformation. Following a period of significant growth, the organisation is investing in its technology, data, cybersecurity and operational foundations. This is a highly visible leadership role with direct exposure to the executive team.
The successful candidate will combine strategic leadership with hands-on delivery, shaping the technology landscape of the business and establishing scalable foundations to support continued growth. The initial engagement is six months, with a view to extend.
- Develop and execute the technology roadmap aligned to business growth objectives
- Lead cybersecurity, data governance and regulatory compliance initiatives
- Optimise core CRM and business systems for operational efficiency
- Improve reporting, automation and operational processes
- Review infrastructure, support models and third-party providers
- Manage external technology partners and consultants
- Proven technology leadership experience within the insurance sector
- Broad expertise spanning applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity and data
- Comfortable operating in a hands-on, high-growth environment
- Experience working directly with CEO, COO and executive stakeholders
- Able to balance strategic direction with practical, day-to-day delivery
- Available to commence within a short timeframe
