Interim Executive Director, ULI Kansas City
Lead ULI Kansas City through a planned organisational transition, rebuilding its committee structure, membership base, and revenue streams over an approximately 12-month interim term.
ULI Kansas City is entering a significant transition as the ULI Nebraska satellite prepares to become an independent Local Organising Committee in early 2027. The Interim Executive Director will guide the council through this change while simultaneously growing membership, sponsorship, and programme revenue in the Kansas City market. Reporting to the Senior Director, District Councils, this leader will work in close partnership with the District Council Chair and an engaged member leadership group.
This is a full-time, benefits-eligible interim appointment of approximately 12 months. Depending on council performance through the transition, ULI may consider establishing a permanent Executive Director role at term's end, though conversion is not guaranteed. The role is hybrid, based in Kansas City, Missouri, and involves local and regional travel plus attendance at ULI national meetings.

- Demonstrated track record of growing and retaining membership and generating revenue through sponsorship, grants, and programmes.
