Interim Director of Treasury at BrightCore

BrightCore is seeking an interim Director of Treasury for a payments-enabled software client. The role carries full ownership of treasury reporting, compliance, cash and liquidity management, banking operations, investments, and payment-related risk. The successful candidate will build scalable treasury systems, controls, and processes while partnering cross-functionally with Finance, Payments, Legal, Product, and Engineering teams.

The position requires a hands-on builder mindset, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to communicate clearly at the executive level. The client accepts W2 consultants only. BrightCore offers a full suite of benefits including medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401K, HSA, and CPE reimbursement.

• Own treasury reporting, compliance, cash and liquidity management, banking relationships, and investments
• Lead cash forecasting, liquidity planning, and reconciliation across multiple payment systems
• Manage payment-related risk, including how the company collects, processes, settles, and reconciles funds
• Build and develop treasury teams, systems, controls, and scalable processes
• Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Payments, Legal, Product, and Engineering to optimise capital efficiency
• Drive development of treasury infrastructure to support new products and market expansion

• 12 or more years of progressive treasury experience at Director level or above
• Strong understanding of how a payment platform operates and its tie to the treasury function
• Hands-on experience with liquidity planning, cash forecasting, investments, and banking relationships
• Public accounting background, Big 4 experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA, CTP, or MST strongly preferred
• Proven ability to build teams, systems, and controls in fast-changing environments; software industry experience a plus
