Interim Director of FP&A

Ledgent is partnering with a growing global organisation to place an experienced interim finance professional as the senior finance leader for the U.S. business. The engagement runs from October 2026 through April or May 2027 on a hybrid basis, with two days on-site in the South Metro area. The role sits at the intersection of strategic finance leadership, business partnering, and ERP transformation work.

The interim will act as the primary internal subject matter expert for a major ERP implementation, driving post-go-live stabilisation, process improvements, and change management. Alongside this transformation mandate, the role covers KPI reporting, forecasting, management reporting, and financial planning, while supporting the accounting team and strengthening controls across a multi-entity, multinational structure.

• Serve as the senior finance leader for the U.S. business, partnering with domestic and international leadership teams.
• Lead the ERP implementation as the primary internal finance subject matter expert, driving post-go-live stabilisation and process improvements.
• Manage and enhance KPI reporting, forecasting, management reporting, and financial planning processes.
• Lead, support, and develop the accounting team during the transition period.
• Strengthen internal controls and improve business processes in partnership with senior leadership.
• Provide strategic financial insights and act as a trusted adviser to senior management on key business decisions.

• Proven experience in a Controller, Finance Director, or senior finance leadership role.
• Strong GAAP knowledge combined with hands-on ERP implementation experience.
• Background working within multi-entity, multinational organisations and matrixed reporting structures.
• Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution and cross-functional influence.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both domestic and international stakeholders effectively.
• Experience in agribusiness, food production, manufacturing, or related industries is advantageous.
