Fractional Chief Financial Officer
Glen Park Senior Living seeks a fractional CFO to provide part-time executive financial leadership across multiple assisted living communities, strengthening controls, improving performance, and implementing scalable processes.
Glen Park Senior Living is looking for an experienced fractional CFO to work alongside the President, existing CFO, and executive leadership team. The role centres on evaluating current financial operations across multiple assisted living communities, identifying gaps in internal controls, and building a prioritised roadmap of process improvements with measurable outcomes.
The successful candidate will assess budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, revenue cycle management, and compliance with RCFE and California healthcare regulations. They will develop executive dashboards and KPIs, conduct financial feasibility analyses for capital projects and acquisitions, and mentor accounting staff to lift overall finance department capability.
- Conduct a comprehensive financial diagnostic covering processes, internal controls, reporting structures, and organisational workflows across all communities.
- Evaluate budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, revenue cycle, payroll, and accounts receivable processes and recommend improvements.
- Develop executive dashboards and KPIs to give leadership timely visibility into financial and operational performance.
- Assess financial software, reporting tools, and system integrations to identify automation and efficiency opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with RCFE regulations, California labour laws, and applicable healthcare financial and tax requirements.
- Present financial analyses, strategic recommendations, and growth-initiative modelling to ownership and executive leadership.
- Minimum 10 years of executive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years as a CFO, VP Finance, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience within assisted living, senior living, skilled nursing, or multi-site healthcare organisations.
- Proven track record leading finance transformation, workflow redesign, and automation initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulatory compliance, risk management, and internal audit practices.
- Experience presenting financial strategy to boards, ownership groups, or executive leadership in a consultative capacity.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; MBA and CPA designation strongly preferred.
