CFO Services Senior Manager | Fractional CFO

Brixey & Meyer is looking for a senior finance professional to lead and expand its fractional CFO practice. This hybrid role blends strategic financial advisory with active business development, requiring someone equally confident in client-facing engagements and practice growth. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted CFO partner to business owners, helping them navigate profitability, cash flow, forecasting, and operational decisions.

The position suits an experienced finance leader with a strong foundation in controllership or financial advisory who enjoys originating new client relationships and building a portfolio of engagements. Working within a collaborative professional services firm, the role offers firm resources and support to develop market presence across the Dayton region.

• Develop new client opportunities through networking, referrals, and relationship building within the business community.
• Build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients, converting opportunities into active engagements.
• Serve as a fractional or interim CFO for clients, providing strategic financial guidance to owners and leadership teams.
• Advise clients on improving profitability, cash flow, forecasting, and operational efficiency.
• Grow existing client relationships and identify opportunities to deepen Brixey & Meyer's market presence.
• Translate complex financial matters into practical, actionable guidance for business decision-makers.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA or MAcc preferred.
• Active CPA or CMA designation in good standing.
• Seven or more years of relevant experience in CFO, controllership, or financial advisory roles.
• Demonstrated ability to originate and develop client relationships that result in new business.
• Strong leadership, communication, and client relationship management skills.
• Working knowledge of accounting systems and the ability to manage multiple client priorities concurrently.
