Interim Chief Financial Officer

Brewer Morris is partnering with a complex organisation to appoint an experienced Interim CFO for an initial three to six month assignment based in London on a hybrid basis. The role sits at the heart of senior leadership, requiring someone who can quickly assess the organisation's financial position, establish clear priorities and provide confident direction from day one.

The CFO will own the full financial agenda, from short and long-term planning through to cash management, governance and controls. They will translate complex financial data into commercially focused recommendations for non-finance stakeholders, and provide constructive challenge to strategic and operational decisions. Given the pace of the assignment, candidates must be available to start at short notice.

• Provide strategic and commercial financial leadership to the executive team, Board and senior stakeholders
• Own the organisation's financial position, offering clear insight into performance, risks and opportunities
• Lead short, medium and longer-term financial planning to maintain a sustainable financial footing
• Oversee cash, liquidity and treasury matters, ensuring appropriate financial capacity is maintained
• Maintain robust financial controls, governance, risk management and reporting frameworks
• Build effective relationships across the organisation, positioning finance as a genuine business partner

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Significant experience operating at CFO or senior Finance Director level within a complex organisation
• Proven track record partnering with Boards, executive teams and senior non-finance stakeholders
• Strong financial planning, forecasting and performance management capability
• Sound understanding of financial controls, governance, risk and reporting frameworks
• Able to step into an interim assignment at pace and establish credibility quickly
