Fractional Chief Financial Officer / Head of Finance

You'll focus on building and optimising finance infrastructure, overseeing fund accounting and management company operations, enhancing financial reporting and controls, and partnering with senior leadership on strategic planning initiatives. Client origination and engagement management are handled by Arootah, allowing you to focus purely on delivery.

• Build and optimise finance infrastructure across alternative investment firms
• Oversee fund accounting, management company accounting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Enhance financial reporting, internal controls, and operational transparency
• Partner with founders and senior leadership on strategic planning and growth initiatives
• Manage audits, tax coordination, and external service provider relationships
• Support institutional readiness, investor reporting, and financial governance initiatives

• Prior experience as CFO, Head of Finance, Controller, or equivalent senior finance role within hedge funds, private equity, or family offices
• Deep understanding of fund structures, investment operations, and financial infrastructure
• Proven track record of building scalable finance functions and improving operational processes
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities
• Experience with alternative investment industry financial requirements and regulations
