Fractional Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) — RIA / Fintech

MarketDash is developing a modern managed-investing experience that allows retail clients to select a rules-based portfolio, connect a brokerage account, complete digital onboarding, and receive automated investing and rebalancing. The company is now building the regulatory and operational foundation for MarketDash Managed and requires an experienced fractional CCO to lead that work.

This engagement begins with a defined project to determine the optimal RIA launch structure, whether through an existing RIA partner or by establishing MarketDash Advisers, and to build a practical compliance roadmap. There is potential for the role to grow into a longer-term leadership position as the product scales. The ideal candidate understands consumer fintech, digital RIAs, custodian and brokerage integrations, and automated investing products.

• Evaluate and advise on the optimal RIA launch path, whether partnering with an existing RIA or registering MarketDash Advisers independently
• Lead RIA registration, Form ADV filings, advisory agreements, disclosures, and the development of compliance policies
• Build a compliance programme suited to a retail, brokerage-connected managed-investing product
• Advise on digital client onboarding, suitability, risk profiling, trading authority, model portfolios, and rebalancing
• Review custodian and brokerage API relationships and the compliance obligations they carry
• Establish a compliance calendar, testing programme, books-and-records process, and regulatory-exam readiness plan

• 7 or more years of experience in investment-adviser, broker-dealer, robo-advisor, or consumer-fintech compliance
• Prior experience as a CCO, Deputy CCO, or senior RIA compliance leader
• Direct experience launching, registering, or operating an SEC- or state-registered RIA
• Strong knowledge of discretionary investment management, model portfolios, retail advisory accounts, and automated trading and rebalancing
• Familiarity with brokerage and custodian relationships and digital account-opening workflows
• Series 65 or Series 66 required; Series 24 strongly preferred
