Interim Vice President of Human Resources

LHH is placing an Interim Vice President of Human Resources with a leading Denver-based manufacturing company. The engagement is expected to run 3 to 6 months, with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent position. The role requires full-time, on-site presence in Denver and carries broad accountability across the HR function.

The successful candidate will oversee all HR operations, contribute to long-term strategic planning through a three-year HR roadmap, and advise executive leadership on organisational design, workforce planning, and talent management. Experience in a LEAN manufacturing environment is required, along with a minimum of ten years in human resources and at least five years in a senior or consultative capacity.

• Oversee all HR operations including employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and compensation and benefits
• Partner with executive leadership to develop a three-year HR roadmap aligned to company growth objectives
• Advise on talent management, workforce planning, and organisational design
• Establish career pathways and succession plans across the business
• Design and implement employee training programmes, including leadership development
• Address findings from employee engagement surveys and introduce strategies to improve retention and workplace culture

• Minimum ten years of recent, relevant human resources experience
• At least five years in a senior HR leadership or consultative role
• Demonstrated experience in a LEAN manufacturing environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to advise and coach executive leadership teams
• Solid understanding of labour law compliance requirements
