Interim Vice President of Enterprise Analytics

Kirby Bates Associates is seeking an experienced interim executive to modernise and lead enterprise analytics programs across a health system in the Northern Mid-West. The role is responsible for maintaining continuity and momentum across clinical, operational, financial, and workforce analytics while a permanent VP is identified and onboarded.

The incoming leader will set the strategic vision, manage change across teams, and negotiate the allocation of analytics investment. Strong subject matter expertise in healthcare analytics, including HR, Finance, Quality, and Health Plans, is essential. Familiarity with regulatory and quality reporting frameworks such as CMS, Joint Commission, HEDIS, and MIPS is required. The package includes housing, transportation, and regular travel home.

• Lead and stabilise enterprise analytics teams across clinical, operational, financial, and workforce domains during a leadership transition
• Set the strategic vision for the analytics program and communicate it clearly across the organisation
• Drive change management initiatives to modernise analytics capabilities and processes
• Negotiate and allocate analytics funding in line with organisational priorities
• Maintain compliance with healthcare regulatory and quality reporting requirements including CMS, Joint Commission, HEDIS, and MIPS
• Support the recruitment process for a permanent VP of Enterprise Analytics by ensuring program stability

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's in Health Informatics, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field strongly preferred
• 7 or more years in healthcare analytics, business intelligence, or data strategy, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
• Demonstrated experience across clinical quality, operational, financial, and workforce analytics within a hospital or health system
• Strong working knowledge of CMS, Joint Commission, HEDIS, and MIPS reporting requirements
• Proven ability to lead and stabilise teams during periods of organisational transition
• Prior interim leadership experience is an advantage
