Practice Director - Client Delivery & Operations (Independent Contractor)

The Freedom Studio is a private professional services organisation in San Antonio, serving founders and families across six countries with trust establishment, advisory, mediation, and education services. The founder currently holds both business development and client delivery responsibilities and is bringing on an independent contractor to own the delivery side of the practice.

This is a hands-on operational role. You would own every client engagement from signed agreement through to completion, manage the contractors doing the work, maintain client relationships after handoff, and operate the systems that hold the practice together, including Zoho CRM, ClickUp, Zoho Sign, Stripe, Thinkific, and Fathom. Much of the infrastructure is still being shaped, so you would play a direct part in designing how the practice runs. The engagement is structured as an independent contractor arrangement under a Professional Services Agreement, approximately 10 to 20 hours per week to start, with scope expected to grow alongside the practice.

• Own client engagements from signed agreement through to completion, ensuring quality and consistency throughout
• Maintain and manage client relationships following the initial handoff from the founder
• Oversee contractors engaged to deliver work, holding them accountable for output and timelines
• Operate and improve core practice systems, including Zoho CRM, ClickUp, Zoho Sign, Stripe, Thinkific, and Fathom
• Design and enforce workflow discipline so nothing falls through the cracks
• Handle difficult client conversations with discretion, particularly where confidential family and financial matters are involved

• Demonstrated experience managing client engagements or professional services delivery, preferably in a legal, financial, or consulting environment
• Comfort operating as the primary client-facing owner of a relationship, including navigating complex or sensitive conversations
• Strong operational discipline, with a track record of tracking commitments and following through reliably
• Discretion in handling confidential family and financial information
• Based in the San Antonio area with availability for regular in-person collaboration
• Able to work as an independent contractor, supplying your own equipment and invoicing for services rendered
