Manager, Sustainability Data Advisory

Watershed's Sustainability Data Advisory team serves as a trusted advisor to large enterprise clients including global retailers and asset managers, helping them complete rigorous emissions measurements and optimise their sustainability data and methodologies. The Manager role sits at the head of the Mexico City branch of a 30-person global team, overseeing day-to-day operations and the quality of client delivery.

This is an early leadership position in a newly established office, requiring someone who can set the tone for a high-performance, inclusive culture while also contributing to broader team strategy. The role involves integrating AI into advisory workflows, collaborating cross-functionally with Customer Success, Product, and Methodology teams, and shaping the operational systems that support a growing global function.

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 8-10 sustainability data advisors within the Mexico City office.
• Oversee day-to-day team operations, including work prioritisation, escalation management, and blocker removal.
• Drive operational excellence by building repeatable systems and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
• Integrate AI tools into team workflows to improve efficiency and client impact.
• Represent the team in cross-functional discussions with Customer Success, Support, Product, and Methodology leadership.
• Contribute to the strategic direction of the Sustainability Data Advisory function as the business scales.

• 10+ years of professional experience, including at least 3 years managing customer-facing teams of 6 or more people.
• Demonstrated background in consulting or B2B SaaS environments with high standards for client delivery quality.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to drive team efficiency and amplify client outcomes.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional peers.
• Expertise in carbon accounting and sustainability topics, built through direct field experience, is highly desirable.
• Comfortable operating in a high-growth, fast-paced environment with an ownership mindset and bias towards action.
