Interim Controller

This interim engagement involves hands-on accounting leadership for a fast-growing, private equity-backed organisation operating across multiple entities. The successful candidate will step into a complex environment and quickly stabilise the accounting function, improve month-end close timelines, and sharpen financial reporting accuracy.

Beyond day-to-day close management, the role carries responsibility for acquisition integration and standardisation across entities, supporting audit and compliance activities, mentoring the accounting team, and contributing to financial systems and transformation initiatives. International accounting exposure and prior interim or consulting experience are advantageous.

• Lead monthly close and financial reporting across all entities
• Strengthen accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting accuracy
• Support acquisition integration and standardisation across the business
• Partner with finance, operations, and senior leadership on key initiatives
• Mentor and develop the internal accounting team
• Assist with audit, compliance, and financial systems transformation as required

• 15 or more years of progressive accounting and finance experience
• Strong Controller or senior accounting leadership background
• Demonstrated experience in private equity-backed and multi-entity environments
• Solid knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Proven ability to lead change and drive process improvement
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA strongly preferred
