Head of Private Equity and Advisory Partnerships

This role sits within Stripe's Sales organisation and is responsible for building and managing relationships with private equity firms and advisory partners. The successful candidate will design and execute partnership strategies that expand platform adoption and create structured referral and co-selling arrangements. Work spans sourcing and onboarding new strategic partners, negotiating commercial terms, and shaping joint go-to-market programmes.

The position requires close coordination across product, legal, finance, and sales teams to bring partnership agreements to life and measure their ongoing performance. Deep knowledge of fintech or payments, combined with senior experience in financial services or private equity partnerships, is central to the remit.

• Design and execute partnership strategies with private equity firms and advisory organisations to drive platform adoption and referral flows
• Source, evaluate, and onboard new strategic partners aligned to Stripe's commercial objectives
• Negotiate and close commercial agreements, including joint go-to-market and referral arrangements
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across product, legal, finance, and sales to deliver on partnership commitments
• Manage deal pipelines and track partnership performance against agreed KPIs
• Represent Stripe in senior-level conversations with partner leadership and key stakeholders

• Senior experience in private equity, financial services, or strategic partnerships roles
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate and close complex commercial agreements
• Strong stakeholder management skills across internal and external senior audiences
• Deep domain knowledge in fintech, payments, or adjacent financial services sectors
• Proven track record of building and scaling partnership programmes from the ground up
• Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority
