Head of Finance (Interim)

Ultralytics is an AI company behind the world's leading YOLO computer vision models. Following a $30M Series A, the business is scaling rapidly across global hubs and needs an experienced finance leader to provide structure and oversight during this critical period.

The Interim Head of Finance will own the full finance function, including planning, budgeting, month-end close, board reporting, and cash flow management. The role also carries responsibility for legal compliance, contract oversight, payroll support, and HR operations, making it a broad, hands-on leadership position suited to a commercially minded operator comfortable working in a lean, fast-moving environment.

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting across the business.
• Own month-end close, management accounts, and board-level reporting.
• Build and maintain financial controls, compliance processes, and reporting frameworks.
• Manage cash flow, runway planning, and treasury operations.
• Oversee contract management and statutory reporting with external counsel where required.
• Support payroll operations, HR records, and headcount planning in partnership with leadership.

• Qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent credentials.
• Five or more years in finance, preferably within a high-growth tech or AI environment.
• Proven experience building or materially improving finance processes from the ground up.
• Comfortable operating as the most senior finance leader with minimal support structures.
• Experience supporting a Series A or B fundraising round is advantageous.
• Exposure to SaaS, deep tech, or open-source business models is a plus.
