Interim Head of Finance

This 9-month interim engagement offers an accomplished finance leader a highly visible role within a respected not for profit organisation. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will shape financial strategy, lead a capable finance team, and work closely with the Executive Team and Board through a period of growth and transformation.

The role suits a Senior Finance Manager, Head of Finance or Finance Director from a commercial background who is looking to broaden their experience at a strategic level. Prior not for profit experience is welcomed but not required. The position runs part-time at 10 to 20 hours per week.

• Partner with the CFO, CEO and Executive Team on strategic financial decisions and long-term planning
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling, including scenario analysis and business cases
• Prepare and deliver insightful reporting for executive and board audiences
• Lead and develop the finance team across financial control, reporting and compliance functions
• Oversee cashflow management, risk governance, audit support and statutory reporting obligations
• Drive process improvement and finance transformation initiatives across the organisation

• CA or CPA qualification
• Proven senior finance leadership experience in a commercial or not for profit environment
• Strong capability in budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling
• Demonstrated experience presenting to and partnering with executive leadership and boards
• Track record of developing finance teams and lifting performance
• Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills
