Head of Ecosystem Development - Embedded Software (Fractional)

Ploutos AI is developing a modern embedded UI platform for device manufacturers, built on a Rust-based SDK with declarative interfaces, native rendering, and integrated 2D/3D graphics. The company is expanding its ecosystem of engineering consultancies, product-design firms, hardware vendors, and device manufacturers, and requires a fractional Ecosystem and Partnerships Lead to own these relationships and convert them into commercial channels.

Working directly with the founder and engineering team, this person will establish strategic partnerships, develop joint offerings, and drive adoption across device-development programmes. Success is measured by active delivery partners, qualified device programmes, successful technical evaluations, and commercial agreements that lead to production adoption. Engagement is fractional or contract-to-hire, with scope and compensation aligned to experience.

• Build and manage relationships with embedded consultancies, design houses, system-on-module vendors, and OEM engineering teams.
• Establish delivery, referral, and technology partnerships with clear commercial value and defined responsibilities.
• Identify device programmes, engage technical decision-makers, and advance opportunities through evaluation and adoption stages.
• Coordinate reference designs, demonstrations, webinars, technical content, and events in partnership with key accounts.
• Equip partners with training, tools, and technical support to deliver applications built on the platform.
• Translate partner and customer requirements into input for platform priorities and commercial strategy.

• Proven track record in embedded software, developer tools, hardware ecosystems, or engineering services.
• Established relationships with relevant consultancies, hardware vendors, or device manufacturers.
• Experience influencing technology selection and converting partnerships into revenue or product deployments.
• Technical fluency in embedded Linux, UI frameworks, and device-development workflows.
• Strong commercial judgement, negotiation skills, and disciplined execution.
• Ability to operate independently and represent the business credibly with both engineering and business leaders; experience in Qt, ARM Linux, or system-on-module ecosystems is advantageous.
