Global Head of Sustainability Data Advisory

Watershed's Sustainability Advisory and Services organisation supports enterprise customers in advancing their climate and ESG programmes. As Global Head of Sustainability Data Advisory, you will lead the team responsible for advising customers on rigorous emissions measurement, data optimisation, and methodology guidance within the Watershed platform. Clients include some of the world's largest organisations across retail, finance, and logistics.

The role spans team leadership, operational design, and cross-functional strategy. You will manage four direct-report managers and drive execution across a globally distributed team, while partnering with Customer Success, Product, and Methodology leadership to align priorities and improve service quality at scale.

• Lead and develop a team of managers and individual contributors, coaching for high performance and strong frontline execution.
• Deliver top-quality advisory services to enterprise customers, bringing technical depth in carbon accounting and sustainability methodology.
• Design and optimise team operations to improve quality, efficiency, and scalability across a global structure.
• Own the strategy for the Sustainability Data Advisory team and contribute to the broader Services organisation strategy.
• Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Product, Support, and Methodology teams to align execution and surface customer insights.
• Champion a high-performance, customer-focused team culture consistent with Watershed's operating principles.

• 15 or more years of professional experience, including at least 7 years leading professional services teams in B2B SaaS or consulting environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in carbon accounting and sustainability topics built through direct field experience.
• Experience managing both individual contributors and managers, with a strong track record in hiring and team development.
• Data-driven operator with structured problem-solving skills and experience leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency and customer outcomes.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and articulate a clear vision.
• Comfortable working in a high-growth, fast-paced environment with an ownership mindset and bias toward action.
