An interim Finance Director engagement at a fast-growing semiconductor and manufacturing business, partnering with the CFO across financial operations, reporting, controls and FP&A transformation for an initial six-month assignment.
Pragmatic Semiconductor is seeking an experienced Finance Director on an interim basis for approximately six months, with the potential for a permanent transition. The role sits at the centre of a capital-intensive, high-growth technology and manufacturing operation and provides leadership across all financial functions while partnering closely with the CFO and executive team.
The successful candidate will operate across strategic and hands-on responsibilities, from detailed month-end reporting to influencing capital allocation and financing decisions. Candidates should be professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA, or equivalent) and comfortable working across cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing and Commercial. The role is based at the company's Cambridge headquarters, with a preferred start by late September or early October.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and analysis across the organisation
- Partner with the CFO and executive team to develop and execute financial strategy
- Oversee cash flow management, capital allocation and investment decisions
- Drive financial performance monitoring and provide actionable insights to support operational efficiency
- Manage financial risks, regulatory compliance and corporate governance standards
- Lead, mentor and develop the finance team, and support financing and capital raising processes
- Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA, or equivalent experience
- Proven track record operating at Finance Director level
- Strong expertise in financial planning, analysis and reporting
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders and driving business performance
- Proficiency in financial systems and ERP software
- Experience in a scaling technology, semiconductor or manufacturing environment is desirable
