Fractional Director of Product Strategy & Design

Viction is building a human performance platform that combines biomarkers, wearables, nutrition, recovery, behavioural science, and AI into a single product experience. As the founding product leader, you will translate strategy into roadmaps and disciplined execution, own the end-to-end member experience, and guide UX/UI direction to deliver a premium consumer-grade product.

This is a fractional, fully remote engagement of approximately 20 hours per week. You will work directly with founders, engineers, AI specialists, and clinical advisors to determine what gets built, in what order, and why, while protecting MVP discipline and positioning the platform for long-term category leadership.

• Define and evolve the long-term product vision and strategy, translating it into roadmaps, epics, and user stories
• Lead product discovery, customer research, and journey mapping to validate assumptions and prioritise features
• Guide UX/UI direction to create a cohesive, premium consumer experience across onboarding, coaching, and retention
• Own end-to-end member experience and champion a scalable design system with consistent product quality
• Collaborate with engineering, design, AI, clinical, and marketing teams to align priorities and manage dependencies
• Monitor trends in AI, digital health, wearables, and human performance to inform platform evolution

• Demonstrated experience leading product strategy for consumer mobile applications or digital health products
• Comfort navigating UX, AI trade-offs, engineering constraints, and business strategy in equal measure
• Experience with AI-enabled products, subscription platforms, or behaviour-change and coaching tools
• Background in startup or early-stage environments where scope and priorities shift frequently
• Systems thinking capability with the ability to create clarity from ambiguity and lead without formal authority
• Familiarity with wearables or connected devices is advantageous; relevant industry certifications are a plus
