Lovers AI is an early-stage WedTech startup seeking a part-time fractional CTO to guide architecture decisions, mentor the development team, and support scaling from MVP to production.
Lovers AI is building an AI-powered venue visualisation and wedding planning platform, targeting the Indian wedding market. The company is at an early stage and moving quickly, seeking part-time technical leadership to complement the founding team. Compensation is equity plus a small negotiable stipend.
The fractional CTO will provide hands-on guidance across architecture, code quality, and engineering team development. The role involves regular founder syncs and participation in hiring decisions as the product moves from MVP toward production scale.
- Guide architecture decisions across the React, Node.js, and MongoDB stack, including AI/ML integrations
- Review code and provide technical mentorship to the development team
- Advise on the scaling path from MVP to a production-grade platform
- Support hiring and evaluation of future engineering hires
- Participate in weekly or fortnightly syncs with the founding team
- At least two years of experience building and shipping production software
- Full-stack experience with React and Node.js, with ideally some exposure to AI/ML tooling
- Prior experience in a startup or early-stage product environment preferred
- Comfortable with an equity-heavy compensation structure with a modest stipend
