A senior contractor role leading conversion rate optimisation and experimentation engagements for DTC e-commerce brands operating within the Shopify ecosystem.
This role sits within the Strategy team at Domaine, the world's largest independent Shopify design and development partner. The Senior CRO Strategist leads optimisation and experimentation programmes for DTC e-commerce clients, using both quantitative and qualitative data to surface conversion opportunities and design high-impact commerce experiences.
The successful contractor will develop data-backed hypotheses, build prioritised experimentation roadmaps, and plan, execute, and analyse A/B tests. They will collaborate closely with UX, design, engineering, and analytics teams to bring optimisation initiatives to life across the Shopify ecosystem.
- Analyse quantitative and qualitative data to identify conversion rate opportunities across DTC e-commerce brands
- Develop data-backed hypotheses and build prioritised experimentation roadmaps based on potential impact and effort
- Plan, execute, and analyse A/B tests to validate optimisation hypotheses
- Partner with UX, design, engineering, and analytics teams to implement conversion improvements
- Lead CRO and experimentation engagements end-to-end for client accounts
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to cross-functional stakeholders
- Proven experience in conversion rate optimisation and A/B experimentation, ideally within a DTC or agency context
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret both quantitative and qualitative data
- Hands-on experience within the Shopify ecosystem
- Ability to build and prioritise experimentation roadmaps based on business impact
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with UX, design, engineering, and analytics teams
- Contractor availability and capacity to manage multiple client engagements
