A/NZ Country Marketing Specialist (Contractor)

Notion is seeking a contractor to support its APAC regional marketing team with planning and executing programs across Australia and New Zealand. The focus is on delivering in-person community experiences for users, customers, and partners across all company segments, from startups through to enterprise. The role works closely with marketing, sales, and customer success stakeholders across the region.

This is a 12-month engagement with potential to extend or convert. Some local travel and occasional after-hours availability around event days will be required. The contractor will own programs end-to-end, from initial planning through to measurement and reporting against regional priorities.

• Build and nurture communities across students, professionals, startups, and enterprise users throughout A/NZ.
• Plan, execute, and measure end-to-end field and community marketing programs at the market level.
• Coordinate and deliver a range of event formats, including digital, meetups, third-party conferences, and owned events.
• Collaborate with APAC marketing teammates and cross-functional stakeholders in sales and customer success.
• Manage multiple programs simultaneously, ensuring quality execution across all event types and scales.
• Report on program outcomes and contribute insights to support region-specific marketing priorities.

• 5 or more years of relevant marketing experience, with a strong focus on field and experiential marketing.
• Demonstrated history of delivering events and experiences that drive measurable business value.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Excellent project management discipline, including comfort coordinating across time zones.
• Ability to think strategically and execute methodically across concurrent programs.
• Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools such as Salesforce, Marketo, Splash, or similar platforms.
