COO / Interim CEO

Working directly with the founders, this role carries executive responsibility across fundraising, revenue operations, sales, marketing, and strategic partnerships. The primary near-term focus is closing a $3M+ Seed round while simultaneously building the commercial engine needed to acquire enterprise customers and establish repeatable revenue growth.

The successful candidate will also lay the groundwork for a future Series A, hire and mentor key leadership hires, and represent SetRents externally with investors, customers, and partners at industry events.

• Lead the $3M+ Seed fundraising initiative and manage relationships with venture capital firms, angel investors, and strategic backers.
• Develop and execute the company's commercialisation and go-to-market strategy.
• Build and lead the sales and marketing organisation, establishing a repeatable sales process and scalable revenue operations.
• Secure enterprise customers and strategic accounts to drive early commercial traction.
• Establish strategic partnerships that accelerate customer acquisition and business growth.
• Hire and mentor key leadership team members, and prepare the roadmap for Series A fundraising.

• Proven experience scaling early-stage SaaS companies, ideally through Seed and into Series A.
• Strong track record in fundraising and managing investor relationships.
• Hands-on experience building and leading sales and marketing teams.
• Ability to operate as both a strategic leader and an execution-focused operator.
• Experience in property management, proptech, or adjacent verticals is advantageous.
• Comfortable representing the company externally with investors, customers, and at industry events.

SetRents is an early-stage property management software platform working to simplify and streamline rental operations. Currently at the Seed stage, the company is building its commercial foundations and preparing for growth-phase fundraising in the US market.
