Controller (Fractional)

Clarity Windows and Doors is seeking a fractional Controller to serve as a strategic finance partner on a part-time, flexible basis. The role involves owning the month-end close process, maintaining GAAP compliance, and building out financial reporting infrastructure that enables the General Manager to make informed decisions. This is a 1099 independent contractor engagement, expected to run approximately six months with the possibility of extension.

The Controller will also liaise with the Mosaic Service Partners corporate finance team to align on reporting standards and private equity requirements. One half-day per week on-site at the Coppell, TX office is required, with the remainder of work completed remotely. The role suits an experienced accounting professional seeking controller-level responsibility without a full-time commitment.

• Own the end-to-end month-end close process, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and GAAP compliance
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, including reconciliation with the CRM and Sage Intacct
• Process weekly payroll for salaried and hourly employees, plus monthly bonuses and weekly sales commissions
• Reconcile and sync Ramp credit card transactions with Sage Intacct monthly, ensuring accurate coding and accruals
• Build and strengthen financial reporting infrastructure, including forecasting in partnership with the General Manager
• Collaborate with the Mosaic Service Partners corporate finance team on reporting cadence and private equity reporting requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation preferred
• Eight or more years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including senior or controller-level ownership
• Experience with Sage Intacct and Ramp desirable
• Must be based in, or readily available to work from, the Dallas/Fort Worth metro area
• Strong command of GAAP compliance and accounting principles
• Background in residential services, job costing, construction, or a related field preferred
