How To MANAGE a Small Law Firm (HTM) is seeking an experienced Fractional CMO to work alongside executive leadership and internal marketing teams. The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on execution, covering brand positioning, campaign development, and performance measurement for small law firms across the country.
This is a part-time remote engagement of 10 to 20 hours per week. The position includes a base salary of $110,000, with total earning potential up to $182,000 based on performance. Candidates must reside in one of the following states: AZ, CO, FL, GA, IL, MD, MI, NC, NJ, NY, PA, TX, VA, or WA.
- Define and refine brand positioning to build recognition and trust across target markets
- Build and manage high-performing marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels
- Establish scalable marketing systems and compliant operational workflows
- Track KPIs and analytics to measure campaign performance and inform strategic decisions
- Mentor law firm owners, service providers, and internal marketing teams on process and accountability
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align marketing efforts with business growth objectives
- 12 or more years of senior marketing leadership experience in organisations with revenue between $5M and $30M+
- Demonstrated success scaling marketing teams and systems that deliver measurable growth
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate marketing data into actionable strategy
- Experience coaching and advising non-marketing executives and cross-functional teams
- Comfortable with hands-on execution as well as high-level strategic planning
- Must reside in one of the eligible US states listed in the role description
