SystemsAccountants is placing a Fractional CFO with a private equity-backed manufacturing company in the Minneapolis area. The role sits alongside the leadership team and ownership group, providing strategic financial guidance and helping to strengthen reporting, forecasting, and operational performance across the business.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on finance leader who can operate at both the strategic and executional level. Strong NetSuite proficiency is required, covering financial reporting, system optimisation, and leveraging the platform for business insights. Experience supporting manufacturing businesses within private equity environments is strongly preferred.
- Partner with executive leadership on financial strategy, planning, and business performance analysis.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial modelling activities.
- Develop and improve KPI reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics for stakeholders.
- Prepare and support lender, investor, board, and ownership reporting as required.
- Evaluate and strengthen financial processes, controls, and reporting capabilities.
- Provide leadership and guidance to internal accounting and finance personnel.
- Significant experience in a CFO, VP Finance, Finance Director, or equivalent senior leadership role.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing business environment.
- Experience working with private equity-backed companies strongly preferred.
- Strong NetSuite expertise including financial reporting, system optimisation, and business insights.
- Demonstrated capability in FP&A, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage ownership and board-level audiences.
