Fractional Chief Financial Officer

This newly created CFO position sits at the centre of a growing hospitality and restaurant group transitioning from a multi-unit operation into a multi-state footprint. Working directly alongside the Founder and COO, the role is suited to a hands-on finance executive comfortable in an entrepreneurial, relationship-driven environment rather than a structured corporate setting.

The CFO will own capital acquisition strategy, debt and lending execution, and unit-level financial modelling to underwrite new site openings. Oversight extends to prime-cost monitoring, cash flow management, tax compliance, and financial reporting across all locations, as well as direct supervision of the Controller and planned build-out of the broader finance and accounting function. A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is required, with CPA or MBA preferred, along with a minimum of ten years of progressive executive finance experience and demonstrated expertise in the restaurant or multi-unit hospitality sector.

• Build detailed financial models and unit economics to support new store openings and nationwide expansion planning.
• Lead banking relationships, loan structuring, capital allocation, and debt financing as the business scales.
• Oversee unit-level profitability, prime-cost monitoring, loss prevention, and financial reporting across all locations.
• Manage cash flow, tax reporting workflows, and overall financial compliance.
• Directly supervise the Controller and strategically grow the internal accounting and finance team as operational volume increases.
• Partner with the Founder and COO on capital acquisition strategy and long-term enterprise value creation.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or MBA is preferred.
• Minimum ten years of progressive executive finance experience.
• Deep background in the restaurant or multi-unit hospitality sector.
• Proven track record of scaling an organisation through growth stages.
• Hands-on experience with commercial banking, lending, and capital structuring for physical site expansion.
• Comfortable operating in an agile, family-office environment without corporate rigidity.
