Chief Financial Officer - Fractional

CEFO Advisors seeks a Fractional CFO to join their dynamic team serving clients from Albany to New Orleans. With over a decade of leadership in outsourced fractional financial advisory services, this role offers a unique opportunity to work with diverse businesses in a hybrid setting.

You'll work partially remote, partially on-site at client offices, and in their newly renovated, dog-friendly office in Saratoga Springs. As a Fractional CFO, you'll partner directly with business owners, delivering strategic financial insights and managing high-impact projects including forecasting, systems implementation, M&A support, and team development.

• Partner directly with business owners to deliver strategic financial insights
• Manage high-impact financial projects including forecasting and systems implementation
• Provide M&A support and transaction advisory services
• Develop and mentor client financial teams
• Drive business growth through strategic financial planning
• Solve complex financial challenges across diverse client portfolios

• 20+ years of progressive financial experience at CFO, Controller, or Director level
• Strong client-facing and advisory background required
• Deep knowledge of GAAP and financial strategy principles
• Experience with ERP systems and financial platform management
• Proficiency with QuickBooks, Sage products, or similar platforms
• Must be based within 60 miles of Saratoga Springs, NY for hybrid work
