Aprio Talent Solutions is recruiting a Director-level CFO Advisory leader for a respected and expanding outsourced accounting and CFO advisory practice. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted fractional CFO and strategic partner to business owners and executive teams across a range of industries, helping clients strengthen their financial processes, reporting, controls, and decision-making.
The position blends client-facing advisory work with internal leadership responsibilities. You will oversee engagement quality and client satisfaction, mentor managers, seniors, and offshore team members, and contribute to practice operations and service expansion. The firm operates with a collaborative, people-first culture and offers significant leadership visibility. - Serve as fractional CFO and strategic advisor to business owners and senior leadership teams
- Lead complex accounting, outsourced finance, and advisory engagements from end to end
- Oversee engagement quality, client satisfaction, and timely resolution of issues
- Mentor and develop managers, seniors, associates, and offshore team members
- Support firm operations, process improvements, and expansion of service offerings
- Partner with leadership to drive continuous improvement across client engagements and internal initiatives
- Significant experience delivering fractional CFO or CFO advisory services to private businesses
- Advanced expertise in accounting, financial reporting, forecasting, and controls
- Demonstrated success leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams
- Strong executive presence and client relationship management capability
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent client engagements while maintaining quality
- CPA preferred; public accounting and CAS or outsourced accounting experience highly regarded
