Job Details

Grateful Giving is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit technology platform that converts everyday consumer spending into micro-donations for charitable causes. The organisation is building both a national Executive Advisory Board and local Giving Leadership Councils across major US metro areas. These are volunteer roles, not paid positions, and suit leaders with backgrounds in technology, business, or social impact who also have a personal commitment to philanthropy.

Executive Advisory Board members contribute approximately 5 to 10 hours per year, meeting quarterly via Zoom to provide strategic advice and networking support. Leadership Council members meet quarterly to review and select local nonprofits for grants and a featured listing in the Grateful Giving platform, with each member making a personal donation to the chosen organisation each quarter.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic advice, relevant expertise, and networking connections to support the Foundation's mission
  • Attend quarterly Zoom meetings as an Executive Advisory Board or Leadership Council member
  • Review and select local nonprofit nominees each quarter for grant funding and platform features
  • Make personal donations to the chosen local nonprofit each quarter as part of a collective giving circle
  • Contribute an annual donation to support Grateful Giving's operational programmes
  • Help expand the organisation's reach through introductions, referrals, and community engagement
Job Requirments
  • Leadership experience in technology, business, or social impact sectors
  • Genuine commitment to charitable giving and technology-driven social change
  • Willingness to donate both time and personal funds alongside fellow council members
  • Located anywhere in the United States
  • Ability to commit 4 to 10 hours per year depending on role
