Highspring is seeking an interim VP of Financial Planning and Analysis for a six-month engagement to build a robust FP&A function from the ground up. The role follows a private equity acquisition of a multi-site healthcare platform and requires the candidate to establish standardised budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial modelling frameworks suited to a clinical, multi-site operating model.
The engagement involves implementing KPI dashboards across patient volume, clinician productivity, revenue per site, and EBITDA; developing unit-level profitability models for individual clinics; aligning financial reporting packages and board materials with the PE sponsor; and mentoring existing finance staff to build long-term capability. Occasional travel to Texas is required.
- Establish standardised budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial modelling frameworks for a multi-site healthcare model
- Implement KPI dashboards tracking patient volume, clinician productivity, revenue per site, and EBITDA
- Partner with the private equity sponsor to align financial reporting packages, board decks, and cash flow visibility
- Build unit-level profitability models for individual healthcare clinics to evaluate performance and drive cost efficiency
- Mentor existing finance staff and define functional roles for the long-term finance organisation
- 10+ years in corporate finance with at least 3 years leading FP&A in a multi-site healthcare, dental, veterinary, or clinical services environment
- Demonstrated experience building an FP&A function following a private equity investment
- Advanced financial modelling capability and ERP implementation experience
- Deep proficiency in business intelligence tools
- Strong cross-functional leadership and executive-level communication skills
- Ability to travel occasionally to Texas
