A growing healthcare organisation is looking for a hands-on interim finance leader to head up enterprise-wide financial planning, revenue analytics, and business intelligence functions. Reporting to the CEO, the successful candidate will scale finance and analytics capabilities, support growth initiatives, and deliver clear, actionable insights to executive leadership and the board. The role carries the potential to convert to a permanent position for the right person.
This opportunity suits a finance leader who combines deep FP&A expertise with the ability to interpret complex healthcare, payer, and operational data and translate it into sound business decisions. The leader will also oversee a high-performing analytics team and drive improvements across reporting infrastructure, revenue cycle, and pricing strategy.
- Lead enterprise-wide financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and revenue tracking activities.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial and operational models to support strategic decision-making.
- Build and enhance reporting infrastructure, dashboards, and analytics tools that provide real-time business visibility.
- Direct payer and claims analytics to identify opportunities across revenue, utilisation, quality, and performance.
- Collaborate with operational leaders to improve revenue cycle processes, reconciliation, and automation.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing analytics team while establishing best practices for data governance and reporting.
- 10 or more years of progressive experience in healthcare finance, FP&A, or financial analytics.
- Advanced financial modelling and Excel skills, with demonstrated ability to build models from scratch.
- Experience preparing reporting packages for executive, board, lender, or investor audiences.
- Prior people leadership experience, including team development and performance management.
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau, and CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
