International (Fractional) VP of Business Development

B3 Collective is seeking a fractional VP of Business Development to drive international growth for its Compassionate Technology Standards™ initiative, a human-centred technology benchmark comparable in ambition to frameworks such as LEED or B Corp. The role focuses exclusively on markets outside the United States and involves building partnerships, expanding standards adoption, and supporting revenue and sustainability models suited to a standards-focused organisation.

The position works closely with executive leadership to shape strategy, represent the organisation externally, and ensure all growth activities remain aligned with the organisation's ethical and compassionate mission. The engagement is part-time and fully remote, requiring the ability to collaborate across multiple time zones.

• Identify, pursue, and develop new international partnerships aligned with the organisation's mission and standards framework.
• Design and execute go-to-market initiatives to expand adoption of Compassionate Technology Standards™ outside the United States.
• Lead negotiation and structuring of partnership and licensing agreements with attention to ethical and sustainable practices.
• Manage long-term partner relationships and oversee account management practices to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to refine international growth strategy and represent the organisation in external meetings.
• Support the development of revenue and sustainability models appropriate for an emerging standards-based organisation.

• Demonstrated experience in business development and sales, with a track record of securing mission-aligned partnerships.
• Experience designing scalable business and strategic growth models for impact-driven or standards-based organisations.
• Proficiency in contract negotiation and partnership structuring, with a focus on ethical and sustainable practices.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to diverse international audiences.
• Background in impact, social innovation, technology ethics, or a related field is highly beneficial.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote, fractional capacity and manage commitments across time zones.
