Fractional VP Business Development

B3 Collective is bringing a first-of-its-kind AI governance standard to market, and this role is central to that effort. The incoming VP of Business Development will own the go-to-market motion from the ground up, developing the strategy, opening enterprise and channel partnership opportunities, and building the pipeline that supports the company's Certified Specialist Program launch.

This is a commission-based founding role with uncapped earning potential and a stated path to a salaried VP position as the business scales. The position suits a self-directed closer who is energised by building rather than inheriting, and who cares about the intersection of technology and human-centred values.

• Develop and execute a business development strategy aligned with the launch of the Certified Specialist Program.
• Identify and cultivate channel and community partnerships that expand the programme's audience.
• Own the full enterprise sales cycle from initial outreach through to signed contract.
• Track leads, manage pipeline activity, and analyse deal data in ClickUp.
• Collaborate with the founder and senior team to craft proposals and presentations for prospective clients.
• Negotiate contracts and coordinate onboarding for new partners and enterprise accounts.

• Proven enterprise sales or business development experience with a clear record of closing deals.
• Demonstrated ability to build channel and partnership pipelines from scratch.
• Comfort with CRM and pipeline tools, including ClickUp, Salesforce, or HubSpot.
• Experience in negotiation and strategic selling within early-stage or fast-paced environments.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Genuine interest in human-centred and ethical technology.
