VP Bio-Mathematics & Strategic Partnership (advisory or co-founder levels)

Archreology LLC is seeking a VP Bio-Mathematics and Strategic Partnership at advisory or co-founder levels. The role is fully remote and structured as an independent contractor arrangement, with the potential for expanded co-founder involvement depending on mutual fit. The successful candidate will guide the company's bio-mathematical direction, review and refine research models, and identify strategic opportunities across industry and academia.

Day-to-day work involves advising on mathematical and computational approaches to biological problems, contributing to business and partnership roadmaps, supporting negotiation of key relationships, and participating in high-level discussions around growth and long-term positioning. Compensation is commission-based, reflecting the early-stage nature of the organisation.

• Define and guide the company's bio-mathematical vision and research direction
• Review and refine mathematical models and computational approaches applied to biological problems
• Translate complex scientific insights into actionable business and partnership opportunities
• Contribute to strategic planning, business roadmaps, and prioritisation of scientific initiatives
• Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with aligned organisations and academic institutions
• Advise on account and partner management practices, including communication and performance expectations

• PhD in Mathematics, Bio-Mathematics, or Applied Mathematics (clinical research experience is a plus)
• Strong background in biostatistics, computational biology, or a related quantitative discipline
• Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and business development within a scientific context
• Experience in account or partner management, with clear communication and metrics-driven practices
• Ability to translate quantitative and scientific concepts into strategic recommendations for diverse stakeholders
• Comfort operating in an early-stage, fully remote environment with both strategic and hands-on involvement
