Strategic Advisory Services Consultant (Remote)

CrowdStrike's Strategic Advisory Services team partners with organisations across all industry segments to strengthen security posture before incidents occur. The consultant role centres on delivering complex advisory engagements, assessing incident response and SOC capabilities, and designing realistic exercise scenarios that test the full range of a customer's response functions.

Consultants produce written and verbal reports, presentations, and recommendations for management-level stakeholders, while also contributing to internal thought leadership and methodology development. The role requires independent working capability alongside collaborative delivery, and up to 30% travel to client sites. Candidates with 2 to 6 years of experience in security consulting, security program development, risk analysis, or cybersecurity policy are well suited to this position.

• Deliver complex strategic advisory engagements across a broad range of industry segments, engaging with management-level client stakeholders.
• Assess and develop cybersecurity and incident response programs to mature organisational security posture ahead of incidents.
• Design exercise scenarios that test the full spectrum of a customer's response capabilities.
• Produce high-quality written and verbal reports, presentations, and findings for customer management.
• Identify emerging cybersecurity trends and translate insights from both government and private sector perspectives.
• Contribute to internal thought leadership, methodology development, and back-of-office program activities.

• 2 to 6 years of experience in one or more of: IT/security management consulting, security program development, security analysis and operations, business strategy and risk analysis, cybersecurity policy, or public/government affairs.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills suited to fast-paced professional environments.
• Ability to complete complex tasks involving strategic analysis and development without supervision.
• Strong time management skills with the capacity to manage multiple concurrent project commitments.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time, often with limited advance notice.
• Demonstrated use of AI tools to improve decision-making, streamline workflows, and drive outcomes.
