Senior Consultant, Management Consulting

Teneo's Management Consulting division works with leading corporations, private equity houses, and public-sector organisations to answer complex strategic questions. The division operates across sectors including Consumer Goods, Healthcare, Leisure and Hospitality, Software, Transport, and TMT, providing strategic, operational, and due diligence support.

As a Senior Consultant, you will lead workstreams, manage day-to-day team delivery, and present client-ready recommendations to senior stakeholders. You will work closely with project teams and senior leaders, coaching junior staff and contributing to business development. The role requires hybrid attendance at the New York office a minimum of three days per week.

• Lead workstreams across core consulting activities including research, analysis, insight generation, and delivery
• Develop well-supported recommendations from initial hypothesis through to final validated output
• Manage discrete workstreams or smaller cases directly, operating independently to high quality standards
• Plan and delegate team workload, providing clear direction and coaching support to junior staff
• Build trusted client relationships through responsive communication and high-quality delivery
• Contribute to business development efforts and internal initiatives within the Management Consulting division

• Bachelor's degree required
• 3 to 4 or more years of relevant management consulting experience, including multi-workstream management
• Strong analytical, numerical, and communication skills with the ability to build clear, evidence-based insights
• Proven ability to lead client presentations and manage senior stakeholder relationships
• Track record of coaching and developing junior team members
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate at pace across unfamiliar problem types and industries
