Fractional Pharma R&D and CRO Business Development Partner

MetaBrain Labs has developed and patented a closed-loop AI-agent architecture for pharmaceutical R&D and clinical trials. The technology enables real-time participant engagement triggered by sensor events, scheduled assessments, study workflow events, and API signals. Applications span conversational eCOA/PRO delivery, safety and efficacy data collection, medication adherence monitoring, and structured clinical data capture. Working demonstrations include an AI Agent Studio and a neurological monitoring implementation using EEG and fNIRS.

This fractional role is focused on commercialising that technology through executive-level conversations with decision-makers across pharma R&D, CROs, and digital health platforms. The engagement is success-based, with compensation tied directly to business generated. The right partner will identify internal champions, shape commercial opportunities, and move deals toward pilots, licensing agreements, or strategic partnerships.

• Leverage existing senior relationships across pharma R&D, CROs, and clinical technology to open executive-level conversations
• Identify and engage internal champions within target organisations to advance commercial opportunities
• Shape and position the commercial opportunity for pilots, licensing deals, or strategic partnerships
• Build and manage a pipeline of qualified prospects across pharma sponsors, CROs, and DCT platforms
• Collaborate with MetaBrain Labs leadership to align market feedback with product and partnership strategy
• Represent the company's patented architecture and IP framework credibly with senior clinical and technology stakeholders

• 10 or more years in pharma R&D, clinical development, CRO business development, or clinical technology platforms
• Established senior network across pharma sponsors, CROs, DCT platforms, or digital health organisations
• Demonstrated ability to navigate innovation adoption within pharmaceutical or clinical research environments
• Experience with eCOA/ePRO, digital biomarkers, wearable technologies, or decentralised clinical trials preferred
• Ability to identify the right internal stakeholders and move opportunities from introduction through to commercial agreement
• Comfortable operating in a fractional, success-based compensation structure
