Weekend Onboarding Compliance Contractor

Rho is a modern banking platform serving startups, offering accounts, cards, expense management, bill pay, and bookkeeping in a single connected product. The compliance team is expanding its weekend capacity and needs a contractor to help maintain onboarding review velocity and regulatory adherence across U.S. banking requirements.

This is a part-time, hourly contract role covering weekends and Monday shifts. The contractor will work within internal compliance systems, assist full-time onboarding officers, and progressively take on independent review and decisioning responsibilities based on performance. The role suits someone building experience in fintech or banking compliance.

• Review client onboarding applications and complete related due diligence tasks
• Document review outcomes in internal systems and escalate to full-time onboarding officers for final decisions
• Request, verify, and track required documentation from applicants
• Maintain accurate case records and update statuses within compliance systems
• Support process documentation and workflow tracking for the broader compliance team
• Communicate urgent issues promptly to supervisors and full-time onboarding officers

• At least 6 months of experience in compliance, finance, banking, or customer service
• Basic understanding of BSA/AML or related fintech and banking regulations
• Strong attention to detail with solid organisational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently on weekends and meet defined service levels
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Associate or bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field preferred (in progress acceptable)
