Fractional Marketing Director

This is a senior fractional opportunity with an established investment business, suited to an experienced marketing leader who can operate at a strategic level while remaining comfortable with hands-on execution. Working directly with the CEO, you will shape the Group's marketing, brand and communications strategy, strengthen market positioning and build the organisation's profile with key external audiences including founders, advisers and investment communities.

A key priority is developing the private capital proposition and increasing its credibility and visibility in the market. The role offers genuine autonomy to build the marketing infrastructure and strategy from the ground up, rather than simply maintaining an existing function. Sector experience in private equity or professional services is essential.

• Develop and deliver the overall marketing and communications strategy aligned to commercial objectives
• Strengthen brand positioning, messaging and corporate reputation
• Build awareness and relationships with founders, advisers and key investment audiences
• Oversee content, digital, website and social media activity
• Manage external PR, branding, digital and specialist marketing agencies
• Create a measurable marketing plan, budget and reporting framework

• Significant senior-level marketing experience within professional services or private equity
• Demonstrated ability to engage and influence CEOs, founders and senior decision-makers
• Strong background in brand, corporate communications and reputation management
• Experience managing external agencies and marketing partners
• Commercially minded approach that connects marketing activity to business outcomes
• Hands-on, entrepreneurial style suited to operating in a lean environment
