Managing Director (Founder Advisory)

Fulchester Consultants is looking for an experienced adviser to work alongside founders and senior leaders, helping translate growth ambitions into focused priorities and measurable commercial outcomes. The role sits at the intersection of strategic counsel and hands-on coaching, supporting clients through growth opportunities, leadership development, and organisational change.

You will join a collaborative advisory environment where the emphasis is on building high-performing cultures, strengthening operating rhythms, and delivering clear, evidence-based recommendations. The role does not carry statutory Managing Director or legal-director authority unless separately confirmed by the hiring entity.

• Develop and advise on growth strategies aligned with each client organisation's vision and priorities.
• Coach and mentor founders, senior leaders, and leadership teams to support business expansion against agreed targets.
• Analyse market trends, identify commercial opportunities, and recommend practical initiatives for scalable growth.
• Facilitate strategic discussions that clarify priorities, sharpen decision-making, and strengthen accountability.
• Build trusted relationships with founders, senior stakeholders, and relevant external collaborators.
• Track progress against advisory objectives and deliver clear, evidence-based recommendations.

• Extensive experience in executive leadership, founder advisory, business strategy, or organisational transformation.
• Demonstrated track record in market development, revenue growth, and advising or leading high-performing teams.
• Proven credibility working with founders, executives, boards, or senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, facilitation, stakeholder management, and coaching skills.
• Ability to diagnose complex business challenges and translate insight into actionable recommendations.
• Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred; recognised executive or leadership coaching certification is an advantage.
