A 6-month interim Director of Clinical Engineering engagement at a flagship hospital, leading a full transformation of CE operations across people, processes, technology, and compliance, with potential conversion to a permanent role.
Medasource's partner health system is modernising its Clinical Engineering operating model, beginning with its flagship hospital in Baltimore. The Interim Director will assess the current state of the CE organisation and develop a future-state strategy covering staffing, workflows, equipment lifecycle, compliance, and service delivery. The engagement runs for 6 months with a target start before November 2026, and travel, lodging, and per diem are covered if relocation is required. There is a pathway to convert to a permanent internal role at the conclusion of the engagement.
The successful candidate will need to operate at both an executive-strategic level and a hands-on operational level alongside BMET and Clinical Engineering teams. Experience rebuilding or standardising a CE department or multi-hospital shop environment is strongly preferred, as is familiarity with CMMS and asset management platforms, capital planning, and healthcare regulatory requirements.

- Experience with CMMS and clinical asset management platforms, budgeting, and capital planning

- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Engineering, or Healthcare Administration preferred; CBET or equivalent certification a plus
