Interim Controller

This interim Controller position covers the full scope of accounting operations, including monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, statutory (SAP) and GAAP financial reporting, treasury and cash management, and internal controls compliance. The role requires a hands-on leader who can also advise executive stakeholders and maintain reporting excellence through a period of organisational change.

The successful candidate will partner with auditors and regulators, drive process improvements, and provide mentorship and accountability to the accounting team. Deep knowledge of Statutory Accounting Principles and a proven track record in senior accounting leadership are essential.

• Lead all general accounting operations and financial close cycles across monthly, quarterly, and annual periods.
• Ensure accurate, timely statutory (SAP) and GAAP financial reporting.
• Direct treasury, cash management, and banking operations.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting compliance practices.
• Partner with auditors, regulators, and executive leadership as a strategic adviser.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency across the accounting function.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation strongly preferred.
• 10 or more years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.
• Prior experience as a Controller, Corporate Controller, VP of Accounting, or equivalent executive accounting position.
• Deep knowledge of Statutory Accounting Principles (SAP) and strong command of GAAP reporting.
• Demonstrated experience managing financial close processes and financial statement preparation.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop accounting teams in a dynamic environment.
