Interim Controller

This interim controller engagement supports a rapidly expanding multi-brand restaurant group through a period of transition. The successful candidate will take full ownership of accounting operations while a key team member is on leave and leadership directs attention toward a significant ERP implementation. The role is fully remote within the US and carries meaningful autonomy, requiring someone who can operate independently at a senior level.

Compensation is set at $80-90 per hour, with the engagement suited to a CPA or equivalent professional who brings solid controllership experience, technical accounting depth, and comfort managing month-end close and financial reporting in a high-growth environment.

• Own day-to-day accounting operations during a key team member's leave of absence
• Ensure accurate financial reporting while leadership focuses on ERP implementation efforts
• Support and manage month-end close processes end to end
• Provide technical accounting guidance on complex or non-routine matters
• Serve as a trusted resource on accounting and tax-related questions across the organisation

• CPA preferred with senior-level controllership and technical accounting experience
• Proven ability to manage accounting functions independently with minimal oversight
• Experience with month-end close and financial reporting in a growing organisation
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, multi-entity or multi-brand environment
• Familiarity with ERP systems and ability to support an active implementation
